PSYCH-K®

Everyone wants to make choices that support their well-being. But sometimes, despite our best efforts, we find ourselves repeating habits we’d rather leave behind.

PSYCH-K® is a gentle way to shift the subconscious beliefs that keep you trapped in old habits—like overreacting, shutting down, or self-doubting—so you can respond with greater calm, clarity, and connection.

Like The Emotion Code, it works by utilizing muscle testing to access the subconscious mind (where most of our beliefs and behaviors originate) and reprogramming those that no longer serve you.

How do you want to change?

The Method

In a session, we’ll create new goal statements and use muscle testing along with simple mind-body processes. We will ensure a whole brain state—to get both hemispheres of your brain on board with the change—and I will guide you through uploading your new goal statement into your subconscious.

You may be asked to cross your ankles and wrists while I muscle test for the correct posture, or gaze to the left and right. Another physical task includes holding your palms out wide for several minutes. We can modify this some if needed.

Example goal statements can include:

  • I am calm and level-headed in moments of frustration

  • I have clear communication with my husband

  • I am confident I know my next career step

  • I enjoy playing with my children

  • I wake refreshed and energized each morning

  • I am safe, valued, and loved

  • I am at peace with the mistakes of my past

What PSYCH-K® ISN’T for

PSYCH-K® is great for lots of things, but it’s NOT for:

  • Replacing personal responsibility

  • Diagnosing or treating medical conditions (I’m not a doctor—please don’t ask)

  • Serving as a substitute for professional psychological treatment (it IS a great complement to this type of therapy, however)

  • Manipulating emotions of others or forcing them to change
